CASE STUDY 01 • NONPROFIT + STEAM + COMMUNITY
Building the digital and technical foundation behind an organization helping St. Louis youth explore coding, robotics, filmmaking and immersive technology.
THE ORGANIZATION
The Whitfield Foundation for Success is a St. Louis 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded to inspire and empower change-makers through technology, innovation and education. Its youth programming centers on coding, robotics, film production and virtual/augmented reality.
The work continues the legacy of Rev. Owen Whitfield, whose 1939 sharecropper protest in Missouri challenged economic injustice. The modern Foundation carries that legacy forward by exposing underserved youth to industries with meaningful creative, technical and economic opportunity.
DIVINE CREATIVE GROUP'S ROLE
DCG's project role is based on Divine Creative Group project records and the partnership scope supplied by Jarred Moore.
Designed, developed and maintained the Foundation's public-facing web presence and supporting program pages, creating a digital home for mission, enrollment, fundraising, program information and press visibility.
Supported the technology environment required for a hands-on learning facility—connecting the operational side of the organization with the technical experiences delivered to students, staff, instructors and partners.
Managed and supported audio/visual needs for programs, events and Foundation activities, helping translate ambitious programming into reliable real-world experiences.
Created infrastructure that could support public storytelling, media coverage, program registration, community partnerships and fundraising as the Foundation's footprint expanded.
